The BFTS Museum is a nonprofit organization which has earned the 501(c)3 designation from the Internal Revenue Service. All donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
The BFTS Museum is staffed almost entirely by volunteers with only two, part-time paid staff members.
Chairman – Bill Huthmaker
Owner of Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park. Bill is retired from IBM in sales to travel industry.
Vice Chairman – Raymond Sparks
Retired Battalion Fire Chief from the City of Garland. Raymond is a US Navy Veteran
Secretary – Barry Walston
Currently employed at Southwest Airlines in the IT Department.
Treasurer – Raenell Davis
Retired from Braniff Airlines Director of Accounts Payable and El Chico as Director of Accounting. She has served over seven (7) years on the Board of Directors of the BFTS Museum.
Executive Director – Rudy Bowling, Sr.
Retired from Southwest Airlines as maintenance tooling supervisor. Rudy also has 20 years at Braniff International Airways.
Currently employed in the construction industry. Jim has served over ten (10) years on the Board of Directors of the BFTS Museum.
Currently employed in the aerospace industry and is a certified linguist. Paul is retired from the Air Force.
Retired AT&T Customer Service.
Bernie C. Schaefer, Jr.
Currently serves as a consultant in the oil and gas industry. Bernie has served over ten (10) years on board on the Board of Directors of the BFTS Museum.
Retired from Advantage IBC.
